Independent measurements. Reliable insights

In our Building Physics and Climate Technology Laboratory, we test heat pumps under controlled laboratory conditions. We provide objective and reproducible measurement data in accordance with European standards (EN 14511, EN 14825, EN 16147, and EN 12102). This gives insight into performance, seasonal efficiency, domestic hot water production, and sound levels. For acoustic testing, we collaborate with our accredited Acoustics Laboratory.

Focus on Residential and Small Commercial Systems

We focus on residential systems and small commercial applications up to 20 kW, including air-to-water, ground-source, and air-to-air heat pumps. The results support product development, quality assurance, and market introduction, including processes leading to a BCRG quality declaration.

From Laboratory Data to Real-World Insight

Within our Heat Pump Expertise Centre, we combine data with practical experience and consultancy. In this way, we translate test results into insight into real-world system behaviour, performance, and acoustic impact.
