Sprinkler technology

Contact information

Buildings are increasingly equipped with an automatic suppression system. The use of such a system allows for very large fire compartments, both in industrial settings (such as warehouses) and in office environments (for example, large office floors connected by voids). Additionally, under the Building Works Environment Decree, the use of an automatic suppression system is often mandatory in parking garages and storage garages located beneath residential buildings, among others.

Design Brief

The technical design of a sprinkler system depends on various factors, such as the height of the space, its use (office or warehouse), and the required level of reliability (such as the number of pumps). The demanding parties, typically the fire department, possibly supplemented by the owner and the insurer, may impose additional requirements on the system. These requirements are documented in the design brief. The design brief is approved by the demanding parties and forms the basis for the system’s design.

What do we do?

We can prepare the design brief for you. Since we do not install the system ourselves, independent advice is guaranteed. In a design brief prepared by Peutz, all requirements for a sprinkler or water mist system are clearly and consistently documented. This ensures that no discussions are needed during the implementation phase with, for example, the fire department regarding the correct execution of the systems.
