Based on dynamic energy studies, we predict and analyze the actual energy consumption of buildings, including the impact of future climate scenarios. This provides insight and enables action to reduce real energy use.
By calculating various location-specific future climate scenarios (such as IPCC RCP 4.5 2050), it becomes clear whether climate change will significantly affect the energy consumption of your building.
Using the results from dynamic energy studies, the impact in phase B6 (operational energy use) can be determined as part of a full life cycle assessment (LCA) of a building. This is also reflected in various assessment protocols (including CCREM, LCBI, BREEAM-NL, WEii) and in demonstrating sustainable economic activity in accordance with the EU Taxonomy.
