Industrial noise control

Contact information

The work within the field of industrial noise control covers a wide range of activities. These include determining realistic and defensible noise limits, identifying noise sources, drawing up forecasts of expected noise levels, and designing acoustic facilities. The scope of work also includes the dimensioning of facilities, supervising the implementation of these facilities, and monitoring their implementation. Peutz’s knowledge in these fields is constantly evolving; we make use of the latest (scientific) developments and experiences from home and abroad. Through our own research, we seek new ways to arrive at efficient and optimal solutions.

We supervise and advise clients on important legal procedures, as determined by, among others:

  • The Environment Act
  • Environmental Management Act (Wm)
  • General Administrative Law Act (Awb)
  • Noise Abatement Act (Wgh)
  • Environmental Permitting (General Provisions) Act (Wabo)
  • Spatial Planning Act (Wro)
  • Working Conditions Act (Arbowet)

The combination of thorough acoustic knowledge, expertise and experience in procedures, and legal know-how ensures that projects are completed successfully. In doing so, we take into account not only environmental and occupational health aspects, but also the business economics of the companies involved.

We have extensive experience in the field of industrial noise control. We have carried out and continue to carry out countless consulting projects of various kinds: from designing a new forklift truck to building a new factory complex, from a simple window fan to a complete wind farm, from model aircraft to (international) airports, from a small bakery to a large petrochemical plant.
