We usually only notice moisture in our built environment when it starts to cause problems. As long as the humidity remains within a certain range, we feel comfortable. The same applies to museum collections, for example. If we sense dampness or dryness, something may be wrong.
We consider humidity right from the design stage of a building. This could be for a new-build home, the renovation of a hospital or the design of a museum.
We are also called in when there are problems with moisture. Leaks, rising damp or, conversely, an environment that is too dry. We have a wide range of measuring instruments at our disposal and, more importantly, extensive experience in investigating such issues.
