Testing determines that a product may only be applied as tested. In some cases, the test standard allows limited extensions to be applied without additional testing. However, through the EXAP standard EN 15725 and the underlying specific EXAP standards, it is possible to establish a wider field of application based on additional test evidence. Peutz is accredited to draw up these EXAP reports and to classify the extended field of application in accordance with EN 13501-1 and EN 13501-2 for reaction to fire of materials, doors and windows, non-loadbearing walls, sandwich panels, smoke leakage, and resistance to repeated opening and closing of doors and windows.
