The work within the field of air quality includes both the inventory of emissions of substances and odours and their dispersion (immission and exposure) in the environment.
Emissions can be determined by measurements on site and on the basis of available literature data.
In order to map the spread of air pollution (in complex situations), model measurements are carried out in Peutz’s own wind tunnel and specialised computer models are used. The effects of measures are calculated, and process-integrated and downstream measures and facilities are dimensioned. The state of the art and international developments are important data in this regard.
Interests in the context of permit procedures are represented, whereby the establishment, expansion or modification of a business can be realised through optimal guidance.
